40th Annual Police and Fire Awards Give Back

The Orange Rotary Club is proud to be the founder and current supporter of the Annual Police and Fire Recognition Awards, honoring Orange's Finest and Bravest.  The Orange Rotary Club began the Police and Fire Awards 40 years ago this year.   The event is now a joint event with the Orange North, Orange Sunrise and the Orange Rotary clubs.  

At the award luncheon, we recognize and thank personnel from the City of Orange Police Department and the Orange Fire Department to include Firefighter of the Year, Fire Manager of the Year, Fire Non-Sworn Employee of the Year Volunteer/Reserve Fire Inspector of the Year, Fire Explorer of the Year, Police Officer of the Year, Police Supervisor of the Year, Police Reserve Officer of the Year, Police Non Sworn Employee of the Year, Police Volunteer of the Year and Police Explorer of the Year.

Vocational Service Projects

Vocational Service fosters and supports the application of the Ideal of Service in pursuit of all vocations. Inherent in the Vocational Service Ideal are:

  • Adherence to, and promotion of, the highest ethical standards in all occupations, including loyalty to employers, employees, and associates, and fair treatment of those with whom one has business or professional relations
  • The recognition of the worthiness to society of all useful occupations
  • The contribution of one's vocational talents to the problems and needs of society
